Ed Kuepper releases the new album Jean Lee and the Yellow Dog this October - his first album of new material since 2001. Inspired by the the story of Jean Lee, the last woman hanged in Australia, the album features guest performances from Jeffrey Wegener (Laughing Clowns), Peter Oxley (Sunnyboys), Warren Ellis (Dirty Three) and Chris Bailey (The Saints). In support of the release, Kuepper and his new band the Kowalski Collective - featuring Oxley and Wegener - embark on a national tour kicking off in October. Brisbane, Sydney and Victorian audiences will to get to see the collective perform as a seven piece with the addition of keyboard/cellist Jane Elliott and a three-piece horn section.
