Splendour In The Grass organisers have announced the initial round of artists for this year's festival, happening Sat July 24th and Sun July 25th at Belongil Fields, Byron Bay. Spiderbait, Xavier Rudd, 1200 Techniques, Acre, Grinspoon, Ground Components, Sonicanimation, Pete Murray and Eskimo Joe make up the first round of local artists. They are joined by internationals: PJ Harvey (ONLY Australian show), MC5 (featuring guest vocalists Evan Dando & Mark Arm), Franz Ferdinand, Ozomatli, Electric Six, Jurassic 5, Ash, Money Mark and Snow Patrol. Tickets go on sale Friday May 7.
