The Fine Line, a new hip-hop, dub and drum n' bass compilation CD, will be launched over two nights at the Empress on Sunday March 30 and again on the following Saturday April 5. Performing over the two nights will be Curse Ov Dialect, The Cabal, New Pollutants, Spare Change Society, MC A-Love, Argonauts and ESL, all of which appear on the compilation. Cost is $10 per person at the door and copies of The Fine Line will be available for free on the night. The compilation was produced as a collaborative project between the student newspaper of La Trobe University, Rabelais and the La Trobe student radio station SUBFM.
