The Big Day Out returns in 2008, with the first round of acts to be announced: Grinspoon, Hilltop Hoods, Paul Kelly, Sarah Blasko, Faker, Midnight Juggernauts, Something With Numbers, Cut Off Your Hands; plus internationals Rage Against the Machine, Bjork, Arcade Fire, Billy Bragg, LCD Soundsystem, Dizzee Rascal, and Battles. This year the sale of tickets will be staggered with Sydney going on sale Wednesday October 10, followed by the Gold Coast on October 11, and the rest of the cities Friday October 12.
