The St Jeromes Laneway Festival returns in 2006 for the second year in Melbourne on Sunday 26 February and its inaugural year in Sydney on Sunday 5 March. The first round of acts to be announced for both cities are headliners The Avalanches, New Buffalo, Youth Group; plus international guests Broken Social Scene, Les Savy Fav, The Hold Steady, and Pretty Girls Make Graves. The Melbourne line-up will also feature Augie March and Temper Temper; while joining the Sydney bill is Art Of Fighting, Gersey, Clare Bowditch, and overseas outfits The Ravonettes and The Gossip.
