King Curly, the project for Blue Mountains musician Steve Appel, hits the road this June. The tour sees Steve joined by a band of noted graduates from the Conservatorium Of Music: Evan Mannell on percussion, Ben Hauptmann on guitars, John Hibbard on the Wurlitzer and trombone and Zoe Hauptmann on double bass. The new album Lullaby - a collaboration between Steve and J. Walker of Machine Translations and Elmo Reed of The GadFlys - is out now, distributed by Vitamin Records.
