Wave Aid a major concert event with over eight hours of music to be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday January 29th from 2.00pm – 10.30pm, raising funds for the tsunami victions. The event will feature performances from Silverchair, Nick Cave, Midnight Oil, Powderfinger, Missy Higgins, Finn Brothers, The Waifs, John Butler Trio, Pete Murray and Kasey Chambers. Tickets go on sale Monday January 17 for just $58 plus booking fee from Ticketek. All profits will go directly to Oxfam, Care Australia, Unicef, and Australian Red Cross, to assist them in their work to help the victims of the Boxing Day Tsunami disaster.
